This created waterfall is at the Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure Park near Salina, Kansas. It is part of a 64,000 square foot building that houses an amazing collection of preserved animals in spectacular lifelike settings.

spedangie > Great Falls on the Potomac River near Alexandria, Virginia.

spedangie > The falls at Pillsbury Crossing on Deep Creek near Manhattan, Kansas.

spedangie > A view of the falls at Pillsbury Crossing from above. These small falls are a part of Deep Creek. This area was used by early settlers as a way to cross the creek. The road can be seen in the upper center of the picture. It is still used today. When I was preparing to take this picture a UPS truck crossed via the ford of the creek.

spedangie > This was taken at one end of the Geary County fishing lake near Junction City, Kansas. This is the overflow area and drops about 35 feet. It's worth the hike through the timber to see it when there has been significant rainfall.

spedangie > Helen Hunt Falls in North Cheyenne Park in the Colorado Springs area. It's an easy walk for a family with scenic trails and a lovely little creek to explore below the falls.
